Pros: We got the jeep we ordered!

Cons: The sales agent insisted we did NOT have liability insurance. I had to call our insurance and they assured me on the phone in front of her that we did! She was wasting our time and trying to sell us insurance we did NOT need! Also at drop off there was no one there to help us. We waited and they were late for work and said it would take 10 mins. to log in. They Said just leave the keys in the ignition and they would send us an email receipt. We are still waiting for a receipt!

Pros: The check-in staff, when we eventually get to see them, were friendly and helpful.

Cons: We had to wait in a queue for two hours to collect the car. There were only two members of staff to check in about 50 hirers. Waiting times at the other hire desks were a fraction of this. When returning the car the member of staff was surly and unhelpful.

Pros: Quick and friendly service. I got the car I booked and it worked well.

Cons: Plate Pass wasn't offered which is a must when driving in Florida, just a sign posted with PlatePass information. The fact that I had to pay $10.99/day regardless if I used a toll road or not was something I don't agree with. Other rental companies charge far less and only for the days you encounter a toll charge. The car had a few noticeable scratches which weren't pointed out; I mentioned it to the employee and took pictures just in case.

Pros: The car was clean and recent. The return process went smoothly. I just did not receive an email as it was mentioned by the Dollar employee who managed the return.

Cons: The overall service at pick up was very poorly managed. They did not have the reserved vehicle and pushed for an upgrade with astronomical upgrade fees. All under the pressure of waiting 2 hours or more to maybe get the vehicle reserved. 70 minutes waiting in line to be told we would have to wait an additional 2 hours in order to get the reserved car. Upgrade offered and the price went from an added $1400 to finish at $350 on top of what we paid already.

Cons: Horrible, horrible wait for pick up. Dollar needs to look at reservations/flights and staff appropriately. The wait? Terrible The girl at the kiosk when your leaving the dollar parking lot after you pick your car? Terrible. Rude, chip on her shoulder, bad attitude.

Rate includes
Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, Customer Facility Charge (CFC), State Tax, Surcharges.
Rate excludes
E-Toll is not mandatory, however, all of the rental cars are equipped with a SunPass/e-toll transponder that is glued to the windshield of the car and is not removable.
Prepaid tolls are available for 8.99-21.49 USD per day.
Personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of 15.00 USD for each toll used in addition to the cost for each paid or unpaid toll will apply.
Please note, that it is difficult to avoid Toll Roads while driving in Florida State, so it is highly recommended to activate Toll Device offered by the provider in order to avoid violation charges (up to the full amount of security deposit). Note that it is not possible to use personal Toll device or pay on spot.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
