Pros: That EVENTUALLY we were given a decent new car after wasting time with an older car with a broken rotating mirror, tyre that needed inflating, one reverse light not working and engine not sounding new.

Cons: The problem was with DiscoverCars.com. The experience spoilt our trip and I will make sure no friends or family waste time with this company . I needed a car for 48 hours, so booking at midnight I tried and tried repeatedly to set the start time at 1pm ( because I knew my husband’s flight was at 3.50pm on the Tues 20th that would be perfect timing to return the car). The website did not allow this. I tried repeatedly but it would. not allow me to scroll beyond 9 / 10 am

Pros: Replacement car smaller than the one paid for, no willingness to discuss. Car was very scratched and exterior was in poor condition.

Cons: Rude car rental agent. The car rental agent wanted me to make the optional insurance to the car at the rental desk, despite the fact that I had already done it online on your site. When I told him that I would not do it again, because I was not going to pay for two different insurances, he started getting very rude, making fun of me and even telling me that the insurance I made on your site was not valid. Eventually for a basic Fiat 500 of 2017 he blocked 1073 Euro on my credit card for 30 days.

The man did not speak good English and told me I had to pay either 300 or 1000 Euros and I didn't understand what for. He tried to write down what he was saying but his writing was very illegible. A Swiss man hiring a car was also confused and asked me what this all meant as we'd paid online. Not receieved my fuel deposit back, 3 days later

Cons: The assertion by agent that we could only use Goldcar to insure against loss of the excess in the event of fire and theft. I did not take it.

Pros: Very little -- The gas refill penalty of $27.00 was an absolute rip-off.
